My husband was sentenced to 20 years. Charged with Use of Vehicle to Discharge Weapon. His family home was shot up by 2 shooter. He is accused of shooting back at the initial suspects, while his Grandfather drove. His grandfather actually worked for the City of Altus for over 20 years at the sanation Dept. There never a gun, or finger prints. He waived the preliminary. He had ineffective counsel. His lawyer failed to explain what was going on. My husband never got or seen the motion of Discovery nor the affidavit. He said if we went to trail that much husband would get life. Never was given a compency hearing after being diagnosed with a mental illness by a licensed professional. They courts used an iterrogation video after 40 mins my husband said "if y'all want me to say I did it ?, Then I did it. Nobody was hurt. Never be convinced of a violent crime .
