Trudy was assigned as a GAL. I have never met such an unprofessional and uncaring GAL in my life. Trudy said in her own words that it is absolutely not her job to look out for the best interest of a child. It is her job to look after the best interest of any biological family member that comes forward no matter how far removed they are from the child or how long the child has been in foster care. She has repeatedly declined to view notes and speak with therapists. She refuses to attend the amount of visits required by the state of Ohio. She has only seen our foster daughter 5 times in 2.5 years. She has absolutely no care for the children in the system and should not be trusted to ever represent a child’s best interest.
