Child Custody / Visitation

Send who your against to use him.

Refered by Attorney Weisenburger. I went to Coffman to first address my rights being violated, second I was bringing my significant other in for a custody battle that was directly related to the main reason I was there, and third for a few other reasons that escalated and never got addressed by Coffman. During the consultation which cost me $1000. I repeat that. This site says a free consultation. I was charged $1000 for the consultation. At first Coffman looked and sounded like he was the guy to hire. That's where that ended. He never even attempted to address why I went there in the first place. My concerns were sidelined almost instantly. For the custody case. It took him a month after a ruling to submit a vacate order due to wrong jurisdiction and then to terminate the order the next day. 30 days to address the issue and we pretty much had to push him to do it. 15 days after the ruling was terminated. We had to "notify him" that it was terminated. So Coffman was not on top of anything. My invoice states that I was paying for a legal team. People I have never met. So an entire team was not on top of our case.. He went to 1 pretrial. We have evidence to disprove everything and I mean everything the person we are against in court. We had it at the consultation. Coffman wanted it places a specific way plus all our audio recordings. We set all of our evidence to the way he requested. Which took quite some time. At the pretrial we tried to give it to him. He refused to take or even look at the evidence. He actually never looked at any of the evidence except for during the consultation and that was only a few pieces. At the pretrial. The lawyers saw the magistrate. After which in a discussion not in the court room nor with the magistrate but with the person we are against and Coffman right there.. A decision was decided that my significant other was going be required to have supervised visits. The supervisor named was another abuser in this case. With my significant other protesting this, Coffman, instead of clarifying that this held no legal weight.. chastised my other half stating "Quit being a fucking cry baby." She has had supervised visits since then with her abusers. The person we are battling in this case. Stole our car through title fraud. We tried to contact Coffman for over a week. Emails & calls. After we lost the car Coffman finally gets a hold of us. When we said we had been trying to get a hold of him he scolds us. faulting us, stating that he always gets his messages and emails. I know in this digital world that our call logs and email sent receipts must be lies or fabricated. My significant other messaged him multiple times and he would not message her back. She called multiple times which included an email that Coffman sent with a specific time to call. Which cost me $25 at least for ever email (he types with 2 fingers) phone call etc.. With the constant problems we were having with him. I jumped on the bar association website to see what I should do. It stated to contact another lawyer to see if what was happening was right or not. Yet. No lawyer would even talk to me without dismissing Coffman first. So I followed the next step from the bar association website.. which was to email Coffman about what has transpired and what I believe should have happened and to see what we can do to fix what was happening. Coffman then withdrew stating that we should seek other council. That was in June. I had to fight for a refund or rather robbery statement of $3300. Because of his withdraw it is almost impossible to get another lawyer (explained to us by another lawyer, that because Coffman withdrew they don't know if the problem was us or him and won't take that chance) so we have been lawyerless through the custody battle, the assault case, the eviction case, the rights violation case. With Excessive charges including things after his withdraw.
