Attorney Biography
Brandon York is a personal injury attorney driven by a genuine commitment to serving others. Raised in a family deeply connected to the justice system—his father a Kansas City, Kansas police officer and his mother a district court judge—Brandon developed an early respect for the law and its impact on people’s lives. Over the past five years, he has practiced civil litigation, gaining extensive experience through dozens of bench trials and motion hearings. Holding bar licenses in multiple states, Brandon brings a broad perspective and a strong understanding of how legal procedures differ across jurisdictions.
Brandon’s dedication to personal injury law is deeply personal. The loss of his grandparents in a motor vehicle accident and the serious injuries his sister suffered in a dog attack shaped his compassionate approach to advocacy. These experiences allow him to connect with clients on a meaningful level, particularly in cases involving auto accidents, premises liability, and catastrophic injuries. He is known for his direct, hands-on style and his commitment to truly listening to clients and offering clear, honest advice.
A Kansas City, Kansas native with proud Cuban heritage, Brandon earned his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law. Outside the office, he can often be found cheering on the Chiefs as a season ticket holder, working on home renovation projects, golfing, or spending time with his wife and two children.
