Poor communication
I called William Thomas Villa’s office and made an appointment for a telephone consultation. His
secretary scheduled the appointment for three weeks away. I explicitly told his secretary three
times, I lived 700 miles away and could only do this consultation via telephone. On the day of my
appointment I called his office an hour early to make sure he had received my paperwork. Another
secretary answered the phone and told me we were to meet in person not over the telephone. She was
rude and short. She would not listen to anything I had to say. She could not accept the other
secretary had made a mistake. They tried to blame their mistake on having sent me an email, yet
could not give me a date they supposedly had sent the email they could not find. She finally put
William on the phone to tell me this is not a good fit. He basically fired me without asking or
knowing what had occurred. I would not rely on this firm for anything.
