Attorney Biography

Karen Bird has over 30 years of experience practicing criminal law in the state of California. She attended UCLA for her undergraduate work, receiving a cum laude Bachelor of Arts degree in 1981 and a Secondary Teaching Credential in 1982.

She then attended Loyola Law School where she was a member of the Scott Moot Court and Traynor Trial Advocacy teams. She competed at the National level in Trial Advocacy. She worked for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office as a certified law student.
