About Kevin P. Parker

Attorney Biography

THE KP FIRM LLC was founded by attorney Kevin Parker in 2018. Prior to creating the firm, Kevin worked as an attorney in both public service and private practice.

Before law school, Kevin earned Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Master of Public Administration (MPA) degrees while working in state and local government as a Georgia P.O.S.T. certified police officer, probation officer, and training instructor. As an attorney, he continues to maintain his certifications by attending and successfully completing public safety training courses.

Kevin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia. While at Mercer, he excelled academically and was ranked among the top ten students in his graduating class. In addition to studying hard, Kevin also worked hard to obtain the practical experience and skills necessary to be an exceptional advocate for his clients.

While in law school, he gained valuable experience working as a student law clerk for the Honorable Christopher C. Edwards and the Honorable W. Fletcher Sams in the Superior Court of Fayette County (Griffin Judicial Circuit).

Kevin’s litigation experience began with his work as a law clerk at Adams & Jordan, P.C., where he learned from some of the best trial lawyers in the state. While at Adams & Jordan, he worked in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, and government law.

After graduating from law school and passing the bar exam, Kevin served as Staff Attorney for the Honorable William P. Adams and the Honorable Jeffrey B. Hanson in the State Court of Bibb County, a private practitioner, a prosecutor, and a government attorney.

Kevin is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia. He has been admitted to practice in all Georgia trial courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.

Kevin is a 32 ° Scottish Rite Freemason and former Rotarian. He enjoys supporting organizations such as Relay for Life, Habitat for Humanity, the Masonic Home of Georgia, Scottish Rite Hospitals, Shriners Hospitals, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and various other charitable and service organizations. Kevin also served as a member of the Board of Directors for Foster Love, Inc., an organization providing children with certain essentials and comfort items when they are brought into DFCS care.

Kevin’s current pro bono practice focuses on serving indigent and disabled military veterans. He frequently offers discounted fees to military members, police officers, other first responders, teachers, social and child welfare workers, and other select public servants.
