I am a business and real estate lawyer for entrepreneurs, privately owned companies, and private investors.Among other things, I help them:

-- start new businesses;

-- buy and sell businesses and real estate;

-- negotiate and draft complex contracts like joint venture agreements, software and technology licenses, and leases;

-- finance their businesses using loans and investments;

I counsel clients throughout the state of Florida, with clients primarily located in South Florida, and I also serve clients throughout the rest of the United States and internationally in regard to their Florida business and real estate interests.

Biography:

Stephen J. Grave de Peralta focuses his practice exclusively on business and real estate transactions. Prior to starting his own firm, Stephen was an equity partner in Broad and Cassel, one of Florida’s largest law firms.As a member of both the real estate and corporate practice groups, Stephen represented a number of the largest financial institutions and real estate developers in Florida and throughout the United States.

Stephen represents a wide range of businesses in their general organizational and operational matters, including real estate investors and developers, professional and medical practices, and software and technology companies.Stephen has extensive experience representing clients in complex joint ventures and other investments in all types of businesses and hundreds of residential and commercial real estate projects. Stephen is an authorized title agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and Attorneys' Title Fund Services.

In addition to his business and real estate law practice, Stephen is also a mediator certified by the Florida Supreme Court.Stephen has mediated disputes in a wide range of matters, including partnership and LLC disputes, real estate loan workouts, and software and intellectual property licensing and use rights.

Stephen speaks English and Spanish.He graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Law and the University of Florida College of Business, where he majored in Computer Science, Finance and Insurance.
