About Shaina Thorpe

Attorney Biography

Our firm is built on two key principles: client service and the highest standards of ethics. I strive for client satisfaction by focusing exclusively on the area of law I have been practicing for the entirety of my career: Labor and Employment Law. I have worked on both sides of the aisle, from advising and defending management to doggedly pursuing the rights of employees. Having experience on both sides allows me the unique ability to see both sides of the case and give potential clients the best possible advice, even if it means telling them things they may not want to hear. In short, I'm a straight shooter who can be depended on to give competent legal advice with a practical perspective.

I am proud to say that I became a Florida Bar Board Certified Attorney in Labor and Employment Law in 2014. There are approximately 200 lawyers in the state of Florida who hold that distinction. I have also been selected by my peers as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for five consecutive years. I currently teach Labor and Employment Law at Western Michigan University Cooley School of Law.
