Melinda B. Powers is a graduate of Florida A&M University (undergraduate) and Wayne State University Law School in her hometown of Detroit, Michigan. She began her legal career as an Associate Attorney at Parks & Crump, LLC in Tallahassee, Florida where she mainly handled probate litigation related to Mass Tort Wrongful Death class actions. She went on to the State of Florida's Agency for Persons with Disabilities where she served as a Senior Attorney and litigated informal Administrative Law hearings on behalf of the Agency.

Melinda is now the primary attorney with Powers Law Group, LLC which specializes in Probate/Estate litigation and boutique Estate Planning needs at an affordable rate.
