Jimmy Cha

Attorney Jimmy Cha is a solo practitioner at the Law Office of Jimmy Cha and dedicates his practice solely to criminal defense. Mr. Cha's criminal law background, and experience in the field provides him with a unique point of view of the criminal system that allows him to more appropriately advocate on behalf of his clients. He truly believes that good people often times make bad choices and/or decisions in life, and that everyone is entitled to good representation. He represents clients in Anaheim, Fullerton, Koreatown, Los Angeles, and many other cities in Los Angeles and Orange County, and surrounding areas.

Mr. Cha is one of the very few if not only criminal defense attorney in the State of California that is a certified gang expert. This means that other attorneys often seek his advice for his unique knowledge and understanding of gangs. He has testified in court as an expert on gangs, prison inmate classification, and the perils of gang life.

Mr. Cha graduated from UCLA with a degree in Sociology, and earned his Juris Doctorate from Western State University College of Law, along with a Certificate in Criminal Law Studies (awarded to less than 5% of graduating students).

During law school, Jimmy Cha externed at the Orange County Public Defender's Office and Juvenile Defender's Office. He also served as a law clerk during law school, and was an independent gang profiler for criminal defense attorneys.
